A new global survey by Manova Partners, polling 73 office occupiers, reveals that flexible offices have become a lasting part of modern workplace strategies.

70% of companies continue to use hybrid work models, combining office presence with remote work, a figure largely stable since a similar survey in 2021 (69%).
Despite hybrid work, 59% of respondents report no change in their office space needs, 14% anticipate needing less space, while 15% actually expect an increase in their office accommodation requirements.
Hybrid work adoption significantly increased in Latin America (from 74% to 93%) and Western Europe (from 74% to 80%). However, the CEE region saw a decline in hybrid adoption, from 74% to 61%. Only 19% of companies operate entirely without hybrid arrangements.
Among those with hybrid models, 76% do not plan to reduce remote working days, a trend particularly strong in CEE and Western Europe.
In CEE, 61% reported stable requirements, and only 11% expect to need less space.
In contrast, half of the surveyed companies in Western Europe anticipate needing less office space in the future.
Dimitri Maillard, co-head of Asset Management Europe at Manova Partners, said: “The results underline a structural shift in the office market: hybrid working is no longer a temporary trend, but the new foundation of workplace strategy. At the same time, companies are not turning away from the office – they are simply becoming more selective. Across European markets, demand is increasingly focused on well-located, high-quality and flexible office space that supports collaboration, employee satisfaction and compliance with the latest ESG standards.”
The survey was conducted between 19 December 2025 and 20 February 2026.
