Immobel has sold its office building at Sainctelette Square 2 in Brussels to the Wallonia Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) and Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI).

EIWB building
These organizations, which had been leasing the 12,000 m² property from Immobel for 27 years under a leasehold agreement, decided to buy the building when the lease expired.
Immobel originally developed and constructed the building, which is situated near Brussels' diplomatic and business areas. For many years, it has been used by AWEX and WBI to promote the international and economic interests of Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
By purchasing the building, AWEX and WBI secure their long-term presence in a location they have occupied for almost 30 years, highlighting the building's continued importance to their operations.
For Immobel, this sale marks the end of the project's lifecycle, encompassing development, construction, leasehold occupancy, and finally, the transfer of ownership.
The financial details of the transaction were not released.
