International Campus acquires PBSA project in Rotterdam

PBSA investor, developer, and operator International Campus has acquired Project Fascinatio, a student housing development in Capelle aan den IJssel near Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

This forward-funding transaction will result in an 11,150 m² building with 342 self-contained apartments, boasting an A++ energy label and various amenities such as a gym, communal kitchen, and study spaces.
The project will be carried out by contractor Waal. Construction is scheduled to start at the end of August 2025, with the project expected to be finished by summer 2027.
The sellers are a joint venture of Groep Caenen Capital Fund, White House Development, and ROM.

International Campus Group received legal, tax, financial, and technical advice from Greenberg Traurig, EY, and CVO, respectively. NIBC Bank provided the debt financing.
The International Campus Group currently has more than 7,700 residential units in operation or under development in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.
