IPUT Real Estate has signed Paladin EnviroTech as the first occupier at Nexus Logistics Park, its flagship sustainable logistics development in North Dublin.

Nexus Unit 8

Paladin, a global IT asset disposition and electronics recycling specialist, will occupy 53,000 sq ft at Unit 8.

Unit 8 has been delivered to BER A1 and LEED Gold standards and incorporates glulam timber structural frame technology, a construction approach pioneered by IPUT in Ireland  offering up to 27% lower embodied carbon than steel and supporting the potential to achieve Net Zero Carbon standard. The building also features rooftop solar panels, high‑efficiency LED lighting, rainwater harvesting systems and advanced building envelopes to enhance thermal performance.

Unit 8 forms part of the first phase of Nexus, which will deliver 1.5 million sq ft across nine units ranging from 53,000 sq ft to 460,000 sq ft. Nexus is designed to set a new benchmark for the Irish logistics workplace, with occupiers benefiting from extensive on‑site amenities including a fully fitted gym, café, astro pitch, padel courts and dedicated walking and cycling routes. These amenities are scheduled for delivery in August 2026.

Upon full build‑out, Nexus will comprise 2.5 million sq ft across 17 units and increase IPUT’s logistics portfolio to 6 million sq ft, up from 3.2 million sq ft. The scheme follows the successful delivery of Quantum Logistics Park, a 550,000 sq ft development fully let to Maersk, DHL and Harvey Norman.

Niall Gaffney, Chief Executive of IPUT Real Estate, said securing Paladin as the first occupier marks an important milestone for Nexus, one of Europe’s most sustainable logistics parks. He noted that the scheme reflects structural shifts in global trade and rising demand for high‑quality, sustainable logistics space, with Nexus redefining the Irish logistics workplace through design, innovation and investment in public realm and amenities.

Eva Warren, VP of Business Development at Paladin EnviroTech, said the company was drawn to Nexus for its forward‑thinking approach to sustainability and innovation, aligning with Paladin’s mission to extend the lifecycle of technology, recover critical materials and reduce environmental impact.

Nexus Logistics Park is supported by the €230 million IPUT Nexus Logistics Fund, which will finance the first 1.5 million sq ft of development.
