Nordic housing developer JM has reached an agreement with Hemvist to sell three rental housing projects in Sweden, totalling 304 residential units, for SEK 1.12 bn (€98.8 mln).

Upplands Väsby - JM
The project in Upplands Väsby (Vilunda) consists of 71 units, with production expected to begin in Q2 2026 and finish in Q4 2027. This project accounts for about SEK 225 mln (€19.8 mln) of the total value.
The project in Uppsala (Gränby) has 83 units, with production estimated to start in Q4 2026 and conclude in Q2 2028. This project is valued at SEK 245 mln (€21.6 mln).
The project in Solna (Huvudsta) comprises 150 units, with production projected for Q2 2027 and completion in Q1 2029. This is the largest project, valued at around SEK 655 mln (€57.7 mln).
Payments from Hemvist will be received upon transfer of legal title for each project.
Nicklas Backfjärd, regional manager Property Development, JM Stockholm, stated: “These sales are in line with JM’s strategy to continue developing the rental housing business. We are pleased to deepen our cooperation with Hemvist through a further three projects, in addition to the previously agreed project Lindblomman in Uppsala, which Hemvist will take possession of during the summer.”
