Nordic housing and residential developer JM has finalised an agreement to acquire building rights for approximately 820 residential units in Vantaa's Aviapolis district, Greater Helsinki.

Aviapolis, Vantaa
The acquisition, valued at approximately SEK 290 mln (€25 mln), was initially agreed upon in late 2022 but was contingent on the detailed plan's legal approval, demolition of existing structures, and soil restoration.
With these conditions now met, the acquisition will be reported in JM Finland's Q4 2025 financial results. The transfer of legal title and an initial payment of SEK 195 mln (€17 mln) will occur in Q4 2025, with the final payment due in 2029.
The detailed plan permits the construction of 826 residential units, and JM anticipates starting its first housing project, consisting of 96 units, in the second quarter of 2026.
Markus Heino, Business Unit manager JM Finland, commented: “We are looking forward to developing high-quality residential units in Vantaa’s Aviapolis, which is one of Vantaa’s fastest growing centres for work and entrepreneurship. The area has excellent services and traffic connections, located close to the airport and only 20 km from the centre of Helsinki.”
