Joanne Douvas has been appointed as senior partner, Investor Relations, at European real estate investor Patron Capital.

Joanne Douvas
Her main role will be to increase capital raised from major US institutional investors for Patron's real estate strategies in Europe.
Based in New York, Douvas brings extensive experience from BentallGreenOak and LGT Capital Partners, where she previously invested in real estate funds, including those from Patron.
Douvas founded Clerestory Capital Partners and later sold the firm to LGT Capital Partners. At JPMorgan Asset Management, she was head of Real Estate Fiduciary Services and portfolio manager for the outsourced real estate allocation of the AT&T Pension Fund. On behalf of the Clerestory Small Cap Real Estate Fund, she invested in Patron Fund IV.
She will leverage her network to help Patron launch new funds, focusing on growth areas in European real estate.
Patron has a long history of working with US investors, who have provided a significant portion of its capital over the years.
Keith Breslauer, managing director and founder of Patron Capital, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Joanne to support the team at this exciting time for our business as we prepare to launch various Patron initiatives, including upcoming real estate value add Fund VIII, Patron Credit Fund and various active platform investments. We already have a strong North American investor base, and Joanne’s extensive experience as an institutional investor, fund selector, and capital raiser gives her a rare understanding of both sides of the relationship.”
Joanne Douvas, senior partner, Investor Relations, said: “Having known the senior management since 2006 and invested institutional capital into Patron funds as an investor myself, I am fully aware of what I believe is an exceptional track record. Patron’s European value-add and opportunistic strategies, plus its newly formed debt platform, offer compelling real estate-focused investments, and I am looking forward to managing US investors’ involvement with them.”
