As a continuing shareholder, Schmidt will shift his focus to strategic corporate development, long-term partnerships, and investor relations.

Executive team members Johannes Nöldeke and Sebastian Pijnenburg will remain in their current roles, maintaining uninterrupted oversight of their respective departments.

Kateryna Bal has been central to Inbright’s expansion since joining the firm in 2021 as Head of Operations. In April 2025, she joined the extended executive team with signing authority and corporate governance duties.

As the newly appointed managing director of Inbright Development, her expanded responsibilities include portfolio management, commercial and administrative operations (HR, Accounting, Controlling, and Structuring) and equity partner investor relations

Before Inbright, Bal spent over eight years at BEOS in portfolio management and corporate development, managing complex real estate portfolios as an authorised signatory (Prokuristin).

Moving forward, Inbright remains committed to institutional investment strategies, brownfield transformation, and sustainable light industrial developments across economically robust European markets.

Kateryna Bal, managing director of Inbright Development, commented: “For the next phase of growth, we aim to integrate operational processes more closely and further scale our development and management platform. The key for us is to continue this momentum with clear structures, short decision-making paths, and close collaboration within a strong team.”

Torsten Schmidt added: “Kateryna Bal is the ideal appointment as managing director of Inbright. She combines strategic thinking with strong operational excellence and has known the company, our projects, and our partners since the early days. Together, we have laid the foundation for Inbright’s current position.”
