Independent investment manager Kingstone Real Estate is boosting its presence in Poland, a rapidly expanding European real estate market.

Pawel Sobolewski and Magdalena Ruta
To lead this initiative, the company has appointed Pawel Sobolewski as the new managing director for Kingstone RE Poland, a role he will hold in addition to his current position as head of Fund Management in Germany.
In his new capacity, Sobolewski will lead the company's expansion in Poland, leveraging his extensive expertise in fund management, acquisitions, investment structuring, and financing.
Magdalena Ruta will join as the new head of Asset Management Poland, bringing extensive experience in the Polish real estate investment market.
Poland's strong economic growth makes it an attractive location for international companies, particularly in logistics and R&D, which is positively impacting the logistics and office sectors.
Additionally, the Polish housing market is shifting towards increased demand for rental properties, presenting significant opportunities for institutional investors due to the current lack of supply.
Pawel Sobolewski commented: “Poland is currently among the most exciting markets in Europe – driven by strong economic growth, a young population and a dynamic real estate sector. At the same time, the market still seems highly complex and non-transparent to many outsiders. This is where we come in with our team on the ground, as we use our local expertise and direct market access to open up attractive opportunities for investors. In addition, we bring profound institutional know-how to the table as a company with a German structure and activities across Europe. This way, we ensure that international reporting, structuring, and asset management standards are upheld.”
Philipp Schomberg, executive partner and co-founder of Kingstone Real Estate, added: “We are already working with a number of cross-border investors in Poland and combine local presence with institutional professionalism in this context. Investor interest keeps growing, especially among foreign players. The expansion of our team puts us in the perfect position to meet this demand.”
