French REIT Klépierre has finalised the acquisition of Casamassima mall, a retail destination in the Bari metropolitan area of Italy.

Casamassima Klepierre
The acquisition, completed at the end of 2025, brings a mall that attracts 7.5 million visitors annually with over 90% loyalty, highlighting its strong market position.
Casamassima is a key part of the largest retail and leisure hub in Apulia, spanning 100,000 m2. It features major anchors like Spazio Conad, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, MediaWorld, Sephora, Foot Locker, Rituals, and a 9-screen cinema. Its fashion offerings include a Zara flagship, the only Primark in Apulia, Bershka, Stradivarius, and Pull & Bear.
Klépierre plans to enhance Casamassima's retail mix by bringing in new brands and expanding existing ones, alongside a refurbishment project to improve the customer experience.
By integrating into Klépierre's leading Southern European mall platform, Casamassima is expected to boost operational performance through optimising leases, re-tenanting efforts, and introducing new mall income streams. Klépierre anticipates achieving a high single-digit cash return on this investment within the first year.
Klépierre's overall portfolio, valued at €20.6 bn as of 30 June 2025, includes major shopping centres across more than ten continental European countries.
