KPE acquires office building in London

Real estate investor and developer Kajima Properties Europe (KPE) has purchased an office building at 1 St John's Square in Farringdon, UK.

The prime location boasts excellent transport links and amenities that attract major companies. 
This acquisition allows KPE to expand its central London portfolio, which already includes successful projects like 77 Coleman Street and 16 Berners Street.
KPE plans to extensively refurbish and enlarge the 2,508 m2 building, subject to planning permission, to create modern, sustainable, and high-quality office space.
This project will utilise KPE's in-house development expertise and its commitment to ESG standards. 
The move is strategic, targeting an area with limited premium office space and strong potential for rental growth.
In Central London, KPE’s workspace portfolio already includes 77 Coleman Street, 16 Berners Street and 27 Soho Square in the West End, whose redevelopment is scheduled to begin in 2026.

The buyer was advised by Allsop and the vendor by Colliers.
