LemonTree kicks off construction of logistics facility in Szczecin

Polish developer LemonTree has officially begun construction on its third project in Szczecin, Westside Szczecin Nxt.

This new addition expands their Westside complex, will provide 39,600 m2 of contemporary warehouse, service, and office space, with approximately 30% already pre-leased to a leading Polish logistics operator. Goldbeck is the general contractor, and the project is expected to be completed in late 2026 or early 2027.

Strategically located in southwestern Szczecin, the complex offers excellent transportation links, including quick access to the A6 motorway, the city centre, the Szczecin-Świnouj seaport, and the new Przecławów bypass (DK13). The area also benefits from nearby services and a shopping centre.

Westside Szczecin Nxt will feature functional warehouse and logistics areas alongside integrated office and social facilities. The design allows for flexible space arrangements, catering to the specific needs of future tenants and ensuring high operational efficiency.

LemonTree will incorporate advanced technological solutions to boost energy efficiency. This includes using air source heat pumps for heating and ventilation instead of traditional methods, and HVAC systems with heat recovery for efficient air exchange and reduced energy loss. The roof is also designed to accommodate a photovoltaic (solar panel) installation. A unique feature of the project is the creation of a Miyawaki pocket forest, developed in partnership with Forest Maker.
