Global logistics provider LX Pantos has acquired a new logistics complex in Katowice, southern Poland, for USD 148 mln (€137 mln).

LX Pantos Katowice Logistics Centre
The acquisition was made by a consortium which includes the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) and the PIS No. 2 Fund.
This Katowice Logistics Centre, comprising five buildings with a total area of 109,000 m2, will be developed in phases and is expected to be fully operational by the first half of 2026.
LX Pantos plans to leverage this facility as an Eastern European logistics hub, offering expanded services for industries like automotive parts, consumer goods, and home appliances, and potentially serving as a forward logistics base for Ukraine's reconstruction efforts.
Beyond Europe, LX Pantos is also strengthening its global footprint in the United States and Asia.
Lee Yong-ho, Global CEO of LX Pantos, commented: "LX Pantos operates subsidiaries in 40 countries and more than 380 global networks, delivering integrated sea, air, rail, and contract logistics solutions. Against this backdrop, the Katowice Logistics Centre represents a strategic milestone in strengthening our presence in the European logistics market."
