M&G Real Estate taps Ruth Jackson as Head of UK investment management

M&G Real Estate has named Ruth Jackson as its new Head of UK Investment Management.

This appointment is expected to help M&G Real Estate expand, especially as the UK remains attractive to international investors seeking to invest through various channels.
In her new role, Ruth will focus on managing specific client mandates, developing new investment strategies to meet changing client needs, and improving asset management performance across M&G's UK commercial property holdings. She will report to Peter Riley, head of UK Commercial & Capital Solutions at M&G Real Estate.
Ruth comes from Hines, where she was a managing director in Investment Management, overseeing three major European investment funds totalling over €5 bn and completing €1 bn in recent transactions, including UK logistics and industrial assets. Her background includes extensive experience in various risk-return investments and complex transactions across different regions. Before Hines, she held senior roles at Invesco (Europe-wide) and JLL (focusing on London investment and development).
