Maslow Capital promotes Sky Mapson to MD, Origination (UK)

Pan-European real estate lender Maslow Capital has promoted Sky Mapson to managing director, Origination (UK).

Mapson has been with Maslow Capital for 14 years, consistently working in the Development Finance team. During this time, he has been instrumental in building the company's origination capabilities and fostering strong relationships with sponsors through various market conditions.

The year 2025 marked a record for Maslow Capital's origination, with the platform achieving its highest volume of new lending. Mapson was a key contributor to this success in the UK, originating significant transactions such as a £500 mln (€590 mln) whole loan secured against a portfolio of five operational PBSA assets across the UK; a £122 mln (€144 mln) development facility for a mixed-use co-living scheme in Abbey Wood, London; and a £116.6 mln (€137 mln) development facility for two PBSA schemes in Wembley, London.

In his new role as MD, Origination (UK), Mapson will assume a senior leadership position within Maslow Capital's origination department. His expanded responsibilities will involve providing closer strategic support to Emma Burke, MD, head of Development Finance Origination (UK & Europe), regarding the direction of the platform's origination activities. He will work alongside fellow senior originators Matt Pigram and James Henry.

This promotion comes during a period of substantial growth for Maslow Capital as it continues to expand its operations across Europe. The firm is active in eight markets, including the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
