MB Advisors secures three Berlin properties for BlueRock Group

Investment and asset manager MB Advisors has acquired three mixed-use properties in Berlin for Zurich-based BlueRock Group.

The acquisitions include two five-story buildings in Charlottenburg and one in Friedrichshain, purchased from private investors for a total in the low tens of millions of euros.

MB Advisors oversaw the entire acquisition process, from identifying suitable properties to due diligence and transaction management. The firm has also been appointed by BlueRock Group to manage these three properties.

The Charlottenburg acquisitions include a 1916 building with 27 apartments and two commercial units, offering approximately 1,800 m2 of lettable space. The second Charlottenburg property, a Wilhelminian-style building, also provides around 1,800 m2 of lettable area across 22 apartments and three commercial units, with Allgemeine Immobilien-Börse advising on this purchase.

In Friedrichshain, the acquired property, built in 1900, features 16 apartments and two commercial units, totalling approximately 2,100 m2. Engel & Völkers Commercial provided advisory services for this transaction.

MB Advisors serves as BlueRock Group's local partner, assisting in the development and expansion of a value-add residential portfolio in Berlin, and will actively manage the properties post-acquisition.
