MIPIM 2027 will introduce a significantly expanded footprint across Cannes, marking a new chapter for the global urban festival as it adds dedicated destinations for technology, luxury living, hospitality and private capital alongside its established home at the Palais des Festivals.

Palais des Festivals, Cannes
The new locations including a tech & AI hub at the Gray d’Albion Hotel, a luxury living and branded residences destination at the JW Marriott Beach and premium hospitality suites at the Majestic and Carlton hotels will be fully integrated into the official programme and accessible to registered delegates.
The expansion reflects shifting investment priorities across global real estate, with MIPIM sharpening its focus on sectors that have moved from niche interest to mainstream capital allocation. The 2027 programme will introduce a new resilience stage, extending the road to zero agenda to include climate risk, geopolitical risk and wider pressures facing cities and owners.
A concentrated data centres summit on Thursday morning will bring together the ecosystem designing and financing AI‑ready infrastructure, while a defence track within the logistics and industrial summit will explore the growing need for adaptable, multi‑purpose real estate across CEE and the Nordics.
Residential real estate will take a central role in 2027. Housing Matters, MIPIM’s dedicated forum on the future of residential investment, will move to Tuesday morning and be fully integrated into the core programme. The forum will convene investors, developers, public authorities and urban experts to address one of the most urgent challenges facing cities worldwide: delivering more homes, at pace, while meeting affordability, sustainability and resilience requirements.
Nicolas Boffi, MIPIM Director, said the changes reflect extensive conversations with clients and industry leaders. He emphasised that while the Palais des Festivals remains the heart of MIPIM, the expanded footprint will give technology, hospitality, luxury living and private capital communities a stronger presence within the event. He added that investment decisions can no longer be viewed solely through a real estate lens, with geopolitics, energy security, technological change and the race to build AI infrastructure increasingly shaping capital flows and urban development.
