Mobimo expands development pipeline in Switzerland

Swiss real estate company Mobimo has acquired a 12,000 m² property in Meggen, a highly sought-after residential area on Lake Lucerne.

This acquisition is a strategic move to significantly boost Mobimo's development pipeline over the coming years.
The undeveloped site on Neueggweg holds excellent potential, and Mobimo plans to construct a premium condominium project featuring approximately 70 units. The project is valued at roughly CHF 120 mln (€125 mln). Following the necessary design and planning approvals, the project is slated for completion by the end of 2032. 
The seller is a private real estate company.
This marks Mobimo's second venture in Meggen, following the successful "Grace" condominium project in 2022. The company has a strong track record in the Central Swiss market, with successful projects like Burgmatt in Merlischachen and Edenblick in Oberägeri. This new project capitalizes on the robust demand for centrally located, attractive residential properties in the region.
Mobimo Holding manages a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties, along with development projects for both its own holdings and external clients. The portfolio, valued at approximately CHF 3.9 bn (€4.1 bn), is strategically located in prime areas across German and French-speaking Switzerland.
