Modal boosts team for UK IOS expansion

UK investment manager for industrial outdoor storage (IOS) Modal has expanded its team with three key senior hires to support its growth strategy.

Joshua Lennox, previously with Starwood, joins as financial director. 
Eliza Birkett, formerly of Mileway, takes on the role of senior asset manager, bringing expertise in logistics and last-mile assets. 
Mimi Tangney, from CLS Holdings, is appointed transactions and asset manager.
These new additions follow earlier strategic hires this year, including Emma Bruce-Smythe as director of Asset Management and Hashim Chowdhary as investment analyst.
Modal's London-based team now comprises eight professionals, led by founders Nicholas Schiloff, Morgan Baker, and Matt Sherlock.
With the backing of Centerbridge Partners, Modal currently manages over 35 IOS sites across the UK and plans to increase its portfolio to more than 60 sites by 2026, solidifying its position as the top IOS platform in the country.
