BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik
This new project, valued at approximately SEK 250 mln (€22 mln), will be carried out as a partnering agreement.
This latest contract follows an earlier agreement in September 2024 for NCC to construct production facilities at the same Gullänget factory site. The new 7,500 m2 office building will provide flexible and improved workspaces, supporting BAE Systems Hägglunds' ongoing development and production efforts.
Construction is set to begin immediately, with the office building expected to be completed in 2028.
Peter Sedin, director of operations, BAE Systems Hägglunds, said: “We are very happy with our collaboration with NCC and with the results in our ongoing projects. We look forward to jointly creating an inspiring and functional work environment for our employees here as well. With the new office building, we are taking an important step in our expansion and continued development here in Örnsköldsvik.”
Niklas Sparw, Head of NCC Building Sweden, added: “We are delighted about the renewed trust shown in us by BAE Systems Hägglunds. We will continue to build on our productive cooperation in Örnsköldsvik and look forward to leveraging NCC’s accumulated expertise in high-security projects and office buildings.”
