NEPI Rockcastle completes Executive Committee

The new CEO of NEPI Rockcastle, Marek Noetzel, has finalised his Executive Committee by appointing Anca Nacu as CIO and promoting Justyna Bartosz to Group leading director.

These internal promotions, along with Marius Barbu's previously announced appointment as COO and Board Director, mean that NEPI Rockcastle's senior leadership is now composed entirely of seasoned employees who have advanced their careers within the company, Europe's third-largest listed retail real estate firm by portfolio value.

Anca Nacu brings over two decades of experience in finance and M&A. Joining NEPI in 2013, she has been instrumental in over €3 bn in transactions, driving the company's growth through strategic acquisitions and a focus on prime retail assets in investment-grade markets. Her extensive knowledge of the eight CEE markets where NEPI Rockcastle operates makes her a key figure in the company's growth strategy.

Justyna Bartosz has over 20 years of experience in asset management and retail real estate across CEE. Since joining in 2016, she has been crucial in developing NEPI Rockcastle's leasing strategy, facilitating the entry of major international brands, introducing premier concept stores, and solidifying the company's role as a leading partner for global retailers in the CEE region.

Effective 1 April 2026, the NEPI Rockcastle executive directors will be Marek Noetzel (CEO), Marius Barbu (COO), and Eliza Predoiu (CFO).

Additionally, Dominik Piwek has been appointed Group head of Corporate Marketing & PR, reporting directly to the CEO. He will be responsible for all corporate communication and events, having previously served as Group Corporate and Cluster manager.

The full Executive Committee now includes: Marek Noetzel (CEO), Eliza Predoiu (CFO), Marius Barbu (COO), Anca Nacu (CIO), Justyna Bartosz (Group Leasing director and Executive Committee member), Robert Ionita (Group Legal Counsel), Andrei Radu (Group Development director), and Ramona Simulescu (Group HR director).
