European student accommodation provider Nido Living, backed by CPP Investments, has named Jeremy Marcazzan as its new CCO.

Jeremy Marcazzan
This appointment comes on the heels of Nido's €1.2 bn acquisition of Livensa, which finalized in September 2025.
Marcazzan, who previously served as Livensa's senior director of Operations, will be responsible for spearheading the combined company's commercial strategy. His primary objective will be to accelerate Nido Living's growth, with an ambitious target of reaching 25,000 beds by 2031 across key university cities in Iberia, Germany, and Italy.
With nearly 30 years of international experience in both student housing and hospitality, Marcazzan brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. His background includes time at The Social Hub, a pioneering hybrid hotel company in Europe. Most recently, he was instrumental in establishing Livensa as the leading developer and operator in Iberia, helping to expand its portfolio to 9,000 beds across Spain and Portugal.
The integration of Livensa has significantly expanded Nido Living's footprint, bringing its total to over 13,000 beds across 30 European locations. Marcazzan's appointment is expected to leverage this expanded scale to drive Nido's entry into new markets and further solidify its position as a leading investor, developer, and operator, committed to providing a top-tier experience for its residents.
Carlo Matta, CEO of Nido Living, said: “Our ambitious expansion programme requires a senior team with lived experience in different markets, working from the ground up with customers to refine and iterate our buildings and operations. Jeremy’s expertise in the student accommodation sector, multinational experience and deep understanding of the Livensa business, brings added value to Nido as we integrate the two businesses at the same time as targeting an accelerated growth.”
Jeremy Marcazzan, CCO of Nido Living, added: “The integration of Nido and Livensa creates a unified platform with the scale and ambition to redefine student living across Europe. The amazing team we have and our shared commitment to driving innovation and service are matched only by the market opportunity we see across Europe’s key university locations.”
