Residential developer Nordrhas has agreed to sell its Swedish operations, Nordr Sverige (including Folkhem), to its management and affiliates of Starwood Capital Group.

Norwegian Property
This transaction, which is subject to approval from the Inspectorate of Strategic Products, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026.
Nordr will retain ownership and operation of its Norwegian residential development business.
Nordr, which operates in Norway and Sweden, is jointly owned by Norwegian Property, Fredensborg AS, and Union Real Estate Fond III Holding.
Acting CEO Haavard Rønning commented: “The divestment of Nordr Sverige AB does not alter Nordr’s overarching strategy of developing and building residential housing. The transaction represents a realignment of the geographical focus.”
Norwegian Property’s portfolio mainly consists of office premises, associated warehousing and car parking, as well as retail and catering space.
