Nordic property company Nyfosa is rebranding to Altra Fastigheter to reflect its updated strategy focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, simplifying processes, and optimising capital allocation.

Nyfosa
While the company's core business remains unchanged, this new identity aims for a sharper market position and improved value creation for both tenants and shareholders.
The name change to Altra Fastigheter will apply to the entire group and all Swedish operations. Its Finnish operations will continue under the Kielo brand, and Norwegian operations under the Bratsberg brand.
In conjunction with this strategic shift, Altra Fastigheter has appointed Ida Fransson as its new CFO and a member of the Group Executive Management Team, effective no later than 16 November 2026.
Fransson brings extensive experience from NCC, where she was Head of Finance for Business Area Building Sweden, and previously held positions at Nordisk Renting, Pareto Business Management, and PwC.
Current CFO, Ann-Sofie Lindroth, will depart on 11 July 2026, and an interim CFO will be appointed to manage the transition until Fransson assumes her role.
Carl-Johan Hugner, CEO of Altra Fastigheter, said: “Changing our name is a natural step in our strategic development. Altra, which in Italian means 'other', is built on the belief of always daring to see the alternative – because that is when truly great decisions are made. Through a structured and curious approach to each property and investment, we create stronger long-term value and better places to do business in.”
Commenting on the appointment of the new CFO, he added: “With extensive experience in accounting and financial management, combined with strong business acumen, Ida will play a key role in Altra Fastigheter’s continued development. Her combination of strategic perspective, strong operational execution capability, and proven experience in developing business-oriented financial management in complex organisations makes her a valuable addition to Altra.”
Ida Fransson, incoming CFO of Altra Fastigheter, added: “I am very much looking forward to joining Altra Fastigheter. The company combines a clear business focus with a high pace of change, creating excellent conditions for further developing financial management as a close support to the business. I look forward to contributing, together with the organisation, to the next phase of the company’s development.”
