Octopus Investments unveils new institutional brand

Octopus Investments has launched a new brand, Octopus Capital, to differentiate and strengthen both its institutional and retail businesses as they enter a new phase of growth.

Octopus Capital, led by CEO Lieven Debruyne, focuses on pioneering new and underserved investment areas, such as renewable energy and affordable housing, making complex investments accessible and reliable. Building on its legacy, Octopus Capital will concentrate its efforts on three key areas for institutional investors:
Real Estate: The specialist real estate lending and investing business, previously known as Octopus Real Estate, will now operate under the Octopus Capital brand, continuing to fund real estate projects across its entire lifecycle.
Infrastructure: Octopus Capital will invest in infrastructure crucial for a sustainable future, including projects that accelerate the transition to net zero and power a more connected world.
Private Debt: A new platform under Octopus Capital will support companies, especially those involved in impact investing and decarbonization, helping them secure funding beyond early-stage equity for large-scale deployment.
