Global investor Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP) Board has announced that Jenny Hammarlund will become their new executive managing director, Real Estate, starting 5 January 2026.

Based in London, Hammarlund will be in charge of the global strategy, portfolio, and asset management for the real estate team. She will also join the Investments Senior Leadership Team and report to Gillian Brown, CIO, Public & Private Investments.
With over 20 years of experience in private equity and real estate acquisitions, Hammarlund previously headed the real estate investment group for the UK and Europe. She joined Cadillac Fairview in 2021 and moved to Ontario Teachers' in 2024 when Cadillac Fairview's international real estate team was integrated into Ontario Teachers'. Her experience includes senior real estate roles at H.I.G. Capital, KKR, Värde Partners, and Lehman Brothers.
