European logistics investor, manager and developer P3 has named Francisco Javier Martín Sánchez as its new head of Development in Spain.

This strategic appointment aims to bolster P3's local operations, drive its growth strategy in the Spanish market, solidify its presence in key logistics hubs, and expedite the identification and execution of new investment and development opportunities.
P3 currently manages approximately 960,000 m2 of assets in Spain.
Martín Sánchez brings a wealth of experience from the industrial and logistics real estate sector, most recently serving as Capital Deployment director at Prologis. His career also includes significant roles at CBRE, XPO Logistics Iberia, ABB, and Ferrovial, where he gained expertise in land development, project management, procurement, and asset management across various stages of the real estate cycle, combining strong technical knowledge with a focus on value creation.
In his new role, Martín Sánchez will report to Javier Mérida, managing director for P3 in Spain, and will join the Development & Investment team. He will oversee the entire development cycle for P3 in Spain, from project structuring to commissioning and final delivery. His responsibilities will encompass coordinating urban planning, technical, financial, and ESG studies, as well as identifying investment opportunities in both land and stabilised logistics assets, in line with P3's growth strategy. He will also be crucial in advancing current projects such as P3 Reus, P3 Manresa, P3 Sant Fruitós, and P3 Zaragoza Plaza, working collaboratively with various internal teams to ensure efficient execution aligned with asset objectives.
