This new 22,700 m2 facility is a build-to-suit project, designed to meet the specific demands of pharmaceutical logistics. Notably, MSK Pharma Group plans to move its headquarters and production facilities from Heppenheim to this new Bensheim location.

The project is being developed on a previously underutilized site that housed an old office building. The existing structures will be demolished to make way for MSK Pharma Group's new corporate headquarters and transform the site for its new purpose.

This marks the third and largest collaboration between Panattoni and MSK Pharma, with the facility specifically tailored for MSK's pharmaceutical logistics needs. The highest hygiene standards will be enforced for the production, packaging, and storage of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. To maintain product quality, especially for temperature-sensitive items, the facility will feature qualified and controlled conditions for continuous monitoring and adherence to precise temperature ranges, in line with GMP and GDP guidelines.

Adding to the site's appeal, an office courtyard with a rooftop terrace and a connected wellness area, including a padel tennis court, will enhance the quality of life for employees.

Fred-Markus Bohne, managing partner at Panattoni DACH & Nordics, said: “The demands of pharmaceuticals logistics with regard to hall equipment and process safety are extremely high. Now, with the gapless refrigeration chain monitoring, systematic documentation and the complete avoidance of any contamination, the regulatory specifications will be met. We are therefore even more pleased about the trust MSK Pharma Group has placed in us for the third time now, to develop a build-to-suit site specially customised for its needs.”
