Panattoni expands Park Braintree with €59m investment

Panattoni is expanding its Panattoni Park Braintree by acquiring an additional 10-acre site at Horizon 120 Business Park in Braintree, Essex.

This new phase, called Panattoni Park Braintree 2.0, represents a £50 million (€58.9m) investment and will add 15,236 m2 across six new speculative units, bringing the total park size to 69,677 m2. This move follows the successful launch of the initial four-unit phase in 2024.
Braintree is strategically located near Stansted Airport, with excellent road links to the M11 and M25, and rail access to London, making it attractive for logistics.
Panattoni Park Braintree 2.0 will feature six new medium-sized industrial units, ideal for a variety of regional and national businesses, particularly those in aviation, parcel delivery, and local last-mile logistics. These buildings will be highly sustainable, built to BREEAM 'Excellent' and EPC 'A' environmental standards, and can be flexibly combined for tenants needing larger spaces.
Panattoni is responding to high demand for quality, sustainable logistics space in the South East, particularly for those seeking alternatives to areas within the M25. The new units, targeting regional and national occupiers in sectors like aviation and parcel distribution, will meet high environmental standards (BREEAM 'Excellent' and EPC 'A') and offer flexible configurations. 
Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with completion expected in late 2026.
