CBRE IM has appointed Paul White as head of the CBRE Europe Value Partners series, its value-add strategy for the EMEA region.

Paul White
In his new role, White will be responsible for expanding the Europe Value Partners series, overseeing its investment strategy, portfolio construction, capital deployment, and overall investment performance. White is set to join CBRE IM in October 2026 and will be based in the company's London office.
White comes to CBRE IM from Hines, where he most recently served as fund manager for Hines European Real Estate Partners (HEREP), their value-add fund series. Over the last decade, he successfully built and led a pan-European value-add platform across multiple fund vintages, managing over €7 bn in total real estate Assets Under Management (AUM) across funds and separate accounts as of 2025.
Reporting to Eertink, White is a senior industry leader with over 20 years of experience. His expertise spans investments across all major real estate sectors, including industrial and logistics, residential, retail, student housing, and self-storage, across every significant European market. Before joining Hines in 2008, White held positions at Nomura and PwC.
Andrew Glanzman, co-CEO of CBRE IM, said: “Paul brings an outstanding track record of building and scaling value-add strategies across Europe. We have a strong business in EMEA, and this appointment builds on that foundation as we continue to invest in top talent and strengthen our ability to deliver differentiated solutions for our clients.”
Rik Eertink, president and CIO, EMEA Direct Real Estate for CBRE IM, commented: “We are thrilled Paul is joining the CBRE IM team. Paul deeply understands the European investment opportunity and how to capture it in today’s market. He is a transformational leader who will leverage the broad capabilities of CBRE’s platform to create a truly differentiating value proposition for our clients at scale in EMEA, consistent with our successful enhanced-return strategies in other regions and globally.”
Paul White added: “CBRE IM’s position as a pure-play real assets investor, combined with the scale, connectivity, and market intelligence of the broader CBRE platform, creates a differentiated advantage and exciting value proposition for clients. CBRE IM is clearly a powerhouse in direct core investing in Europe. There is an exciting opportunity for the firm to grow its non-core direct investing activity in the region, and I am honoured to play a leading role in that expansion.”
