Pictet and Stoneweg launch "Axis" to invest in Dutch logistics

Pictet Alternative Advisors and Stoneweg have partnered to create "Axis," a new platform dedicated to Dutch logistics real estate.

Axis will target small and mid-sized logistics properties, particularly in urban and last-mile locations within the Randstad area and other key Dutch logistics hubs. 
The platform is launching with an initial portfolio of eight high-quality logistics properties, all acquired through seven off-market transactions in the first half of 2025. This portfolio boasts a total area of approximately 60,000 m2 and is fully occupied. These assets are strategically located in desirable logistics markets within the Randstad area (including Rotterdam, Utrecht, and Almere) as well as other important hubs like Waalwijk, Oss, Deventer, and Maastricht.
The aim is to build a diverse portfolio, focusing on long-term performance and sustainability, with planned renovations and a sustainability-linked loan from ING.

In the Netherlands, Stoneweg manages around €800 mln of real estate assets across multiple funds and mandates.
