Prime Kapital secures €85m refinancing for Arges Mall

Romanian real estate company Prime Kapital has obtained an €85.5 mln refinancing agreement from Erste Group for Arges Mall.

Opened in April 2024 and developed by Prime Kapital, Arges Mall is a prominent shopping and lifestyle centre in Pitesti, southern Romania. It offers over 51,000 m2 of leasable space, featuring more than 150 stores and restaurants, along with a modern food court that has a panoramic terrace with views of Lake Prundu. 
The mall is located in a densely populated area of Pitesti, near the main train station and boulevard, with easy access to the E81/A1 highway. It serves a large area of over 640,000 people, taking advantage of the strong economic activity in the region, including the Dacia plant (Renault), which is the largest Renault factory outside France.  
The project transformed a 13-hectare industrial area into a retail centre with public amenities, including a large park and improved pedestrian and car connections, which benefits the local community. 
Arges Mall has also received Edge Advanced green certification, reflecting Prime Kapital's focus on environmental responsibility.
