Prologis earmarks over €6.4b for expansion in France

Logistics real estate player Prologis will spend over €6.4 bn by 2035 to expand its logistics and data centre footprint in France.

Large JFK Log Center A 10

Logistics asset owned by Prologis

This investment will fund the construction of 750,000 m2 of new logistics facilities in major hubs like Paris, Lyon, Marseille, and Le Havre, creating over 5,600 jobs.
Additionally, Prologis will develop four data centres near Paris with a combined capacity of 584 MW, furthering its European digital infrastructure strategy and generating over 3,400 jobs.
This move highlights France's growing importance in both global supply chains and the digital infrastructure to power AI, data, and commerce in Europe.
Hamid R. Moghadam, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Prologis, said: “France is critical to the future of logistics and digital infrastructure in Europe. These investments reflect our confidence in France’s long-term potential and our role in building the infrastructure that keeps global commerce moving.”
Sandro Innocenti, head of Prologis’ Southern Europe Region, added: “This is about creating long-term value—for customers, for investors and for the broader economy. We’re building the connected, resilient infrastructure that helps businesses grow—and will help France thrive for generations to come.”
A key market for Prologis since 2002, the latest investment adds to Prologis' existing €4.7 bn investment and current 3.4 mln m2 of managed properties in France.
