Prologis expands in Poland with new BTS projects

Prologis is expanding its presence in Poland with a new 46,000 m2 build-to-suit (BTS) distribution centre for Arvato at Prologis Park Poznań III.

This project, set to be completed in late 2026, will support Arvato's retail and e-commerce operations across Poland and Europe, bringing its total space across four Prologis parks in Poland to 176,000 m2.

This development is part of a larger trend of significant BTS projects for Prologis in Poland. They recently delivered a 62,500 m2 regional distribution and kitting centre for Schaeffler at Prologis Park Ujazd and a new logistics hub for DP World at Prologis Park Łódź. These three BTS projects combined represent over 150,000 m2 of customised logistics space, highlighting Prologis's investment in pre-leased, income-generating properties.

All these new facilities are designed with sustainability in mind, featuring energy-efficient building materials, smart lighting, and heat pump technology. Prologis further commits to sustainability by powering its Polish portfolio with renewable electricity through an agreement with ENGIE Zielona Energia.

The strategic locations of these parks—Prologis Park Poznań III on the A2 motorway, Prologis Park Ujazd on the A4, and Prologis Park Łódź at the A1 and A2 intersection—provide excellent access to major European transport routes and labour markets, solidifying Poland's importance in Prologis's European logistics network.

Paweł Sapek, SVP and regional head for Central Europe at Prologis, said: “These projects demonstrate our ability to deliver complex, automation-ready build-to-suit facilities at pace for global occupiers. Manufacturers and logistics operators are restructuring supply chains closer to key European markets, and Poland offers the infrastructure, labour base and connectivity to support that shift.”
