Prologis makes takeover proposal as SEGRO shares rise
U.S. logistics giant Prologis has submitted a last‑minute takeover proposal for SEGRO valued at about £14 billion (€16.5bn) or £10.32 per share (€12.18) ahead of a regulatory deadline, according to Reuters.

Prologis, Hannover
Segro shares rose nearly 4% to 901.2 pence in early trading following the announcement.
Under the latest proposal, each Segro share would be valued at 1,031.7 pence, comprising 0.0920 Prologis shares and a partial cash alternative of up to £3.5 billion.
A Segro spokesperson told Reuters shortly before the improved bid:
“We met and engaged with Prologis over the weekend and have been clear that we would consider and engage again on a revised proposal.”
The approach marks Prologis’ most significant attempt yet to acquire the FTSE‑listed industrial and logistics REIT, following earlier proposals in recent months.
