European logistics operator and developer Proxity has strengthened its Iberian operations by appointing a four-person team in Portugal.

Leonardo Peres
This new team, led by Leonardo Peres as country head for Portugal, brings extensive experience in logistics and real estate asset management from M7 Real Estate.
Based in Lisbon, Peres will report to Borja Hoya, head of Iberia, and will oversee Proxity's Portuguese logistics portfolio. This strategic move provides Proxity with immediate, on-the-ground operational capabilities in Portugal, supporting the firm's goal of building a pan-European logistics.
The new team will manage a high-quality portfolio of over 35 logistics assets, totalling more than 600,000 m2 of lettable space. These assets are strategically located in key Portuguese logistics corridors, offering excellent connectivity to major transport infrastructure and catering to increasing tenant demand.
Yvo Postleb, COO of Proxity, said: “Portugal is becoming increasingly strategic within Iberia, propelled by improved infrastructure and its pivotal role within Europe’s supply chain. Bringing in an experienced local team with deep market knowledge strengthens our ability to operate on the ground and accelerate the growth of our wider pan-European platform.”
Leonardo Peres, country head Portugal at Proxity, said: “We look forward to building out our presence in Portugal, drawing on our strong experience in the local market and working closely with customers and stakeholders to drive long-term performance.”
