RC Europe completes first phase of €100m logistics park in Croatia

Czech group RC Europe opened a new logistics facility, RC Zone Samobor, near Samobor, Croatia.

Representing an overall €100 mln investment, the first phase offers 43,000 m² of fully leased space.
Upon completion of the second phase, the complex will total 86,000 m², becoming Croatia's largest logistics centre.
The five tenants secured so far include DB Schenker, Milšped, Logaritam, Commel Zagreb, and dm-drogerie markt.
The project was financed through a combination of RC Europe's funds and a loan from UniCredit Bank. RC Europe is currently seeking tenants for the second phase, with an expected opening next year.
RC Zone Samobor has been awarded an A+ energy efficiency rating, the highest possible, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable building practices. The boasts BREEAM certification, a large 7 MW rooftop solar power plant, and electric vehicle charging stations for both trucks and cars.
RC Zone Samobor, situated just 12 kilometres from Zagreb's centre and conveniently located on the A3 highway connecting Croatia and Slovenia, offers tenants versatile space suitable for warehousing, manufacturing, or office use.
Besides Croatia, the Czech group operates in Romania, Serbia, and the Czech Republic.
