Redevco has expanded its German logistics platform with the acquisition of four transport‑critical assets, adding 87,000 sq m of gross lettable area and increasing its pan‑European logistics footprint to 11.9 million sq ft and approximately €1 billion of assets under management across 32 assets.

Malsfeld
The deal strengthens Redevco’s growing Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) strategy, taking its IOS portfolio to 6.4 million sq ft and €225 million AuM across 17 assets.
The newly acquired portfolio comprises three truck service facilities in Frechen, Hirschberg and Langenhagen, and a full‑service truck stop in Malsfeld. All four assets are fully occupied and located in key logistics corridors close to major German cities and arterial transport networks, providing strategic exposure to transport‑led real estate.
Camila Malzkorn, head of transaction management logistics DACH at Redevco, said the acquisition aligns closely with the firm’s strategy to scale its IOS platform. “This acquisition is exactly the kind of opportunity we are targeting as we scale Redevco’s IOS logistics platform: well‑located, transport‑critical assets with strong occupier fundamentals and clear asset management potential. Germany is one of Europe’s most important logistics markets, and this portfolio gives us exposure to locations intricately connected to major freight, automotive and distribution networks.”
Each asset occupies a strategic position within Germany’s national transport network. The Frechen facility, west of Cologne, sits close to the A4 and A1 motorways in one of the country’s most important logistics regions. Hirschberg offers direct access to the A5 corridor east of Mannheim, linking the Frankfurt Rhine‑Main region with southern Germany.Langenhagen, north of Hanover, is located near the airport and the A352, A2 and A7 motorways. The Malsfeld truck stop lies on the A7 near the A7/A4/A5 intersection, providing both north‑south and east‑west connectivity through central Germany.
The acquisition follows a period of rapid expansion for Redevco’s logistics platform, with three IOS transactions completed within a month across Germany, Spain and the UK. The firm continues to build a pan‑European logistics portfolio focused on core markets and supported by structural growth in urban logistics and transport‑led real estate.
CBRE advised on the transaction. Redevco also mandated Osborne Clarke, Nova Ambiente, Goldbeck Services and Colliers.
