Her appointment aims to significantly enhance Savills Germany's service offerings and strengthen its EMEA hotels team. Haller's extensive experience as both an advisor and principal in the German hotel market will enable Savills to provide comprehensive advisory services to clients.
Haller brings over two decades of real estate industry expertise. A trained hotel manager with a background in tourism business administration, she spent over 13 years at JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group, where she rose to national director and executive VP. In 2016, she moved to KPMG, building and leading their hotel consulting team as director within the Deal Advisory – Real Estate & Hospitality division. Most recently, since 2022, she has served as Head of Asset Management at Inka Munich, concurrently acting as managing director for the real estate company of Munich's Hotel Koenigshof.
Under Haller's leadership, Savills will expand its services for the German hotel sector, offering expertise in buy-side and sell-side advisory, M&A guidance, operator selection, and valuations for both individual properties and portfolios.
Karsten Nemecek, deputy CEO Germany at Savills, said: “We are gaining a proven specialist who knows the German hotel market inside out – from transaction consulting and strategic development to the operational implementation of complex projects.”
David Kellett, head of Hotel Capital Markets EMEA at Savills, commented: “We are delighted that Tina Haller is joining Savills. I have known Tina for several years, and I am convinced that she will provide excellent advice to our clients as we build out our hotel practice in Germany. Her experience as both principal and adviser will be invaluable, and I’m excited to be working with her.”
Tina Haller added: “I am looking forward to my new role and to helping shape the hotel offer at Savills. Our goal is to provide comprehensive support to owners, investors and developers via our teams in Germany and our strong global network. This enables us to offer our clients in-depth market knowledge with international reach and tailor-made solutions from a single source.”
