Sentinel Real Estate enters UK living sector

Sentinel Real Estate has announced the appointment of Ben Sanderson as managing director to spearhead the company's expansion into the UK living sector.

Operating from Sentinel's new London office, Sanderson will be responsible for building a fully integrated investment platform in the UK. 
This strategic move comes at a time when the UK's significant housing shortage makes it an appealing market for investment, with strong opportunities in various residential sub-asset classes like build-to-rent (BTR), single-family homes, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), and senior living.
Sanderson brings over 25 years of international real estate experience, with a focus on residential investment across the UK, Europe, the US, and Australia. Before joining Sentinel, he was managing director at Aviva Investors, where he oversaw global real estate and infrastructure businesses, guiding strategic direction and executing real estate investments, including the development of new residential investment programs in the UK and Europe.
Sanderson also chaired the Investment Property Forum from 2020 to 2022 and remains an active Board Member.
