European commercial real estate advisory firm Shelton Reed has appointed Lukasz Krawczyk as senior advisor for Financing and Debt, and Ewa Szafranska as CEE director.

Ewa Szafranska and Lukasz Krawczyk
Together, they bring over 40 years of combined experience covering the entire real estate advisory process, from financing and investment to development and asset management, specifically across CEE markets.
Lukasz Krawczyk, with 17 years in European CRE finance, has arranged over €900 mln in debt. He has experience on both the lending side (Santander, Alior Bank) and the borrowing side (MLP Group, CPI Property Group).
Ewa Szafranska has held senior roles at companies like Carrefour Polska, TK Development, Apsys, Azora, Balmain Asset Management, and, most recently, as CEIO for CEE and South-East Europe at Zeus Capital Management.
Both Krawczyk and Szafranska represented Shelton Reed at MIPIM 2026, where they observed a renewed interest from lenders in European CRE after two years of caution. Investors are re-evaluating the region as repricing opportunities emerge, leading to more significant discussions at the event.
Lukasz Krawczyk, senior advisor, said: “The financing market is shifting - rates are moving, bank appetites are changing, and the structures that worked two years ago need rethinking. That is exactly where experienced advisory makes the difference.”
Ewa Szafranska, CEE director, added: “The CEE market is entering a new cycle. Shelton Reed is building the advisory capability to help clients capture it - combining investment, development, and asset management expertise under one roof.”
