Shopper Park Plus acquires Polish retail park portfolio

Hungary-based property and asset manager Shopper Park Plus (SPP) has announced the acquisition of a real estate portfolio in Poland and the securing of financing for this deal.

On 23 December 2025, SPP and its eight Polish subsidiaries signed an agreement to purchase eight retail parks in Poland from Auchan Polska and Ceetrus Polska. The transaction's completion is contingent on standard closing conditions and is anticipated in the first quarter of 2026.
To finance this acquisition, SPP's eight Polish subsidiaries, as borrowers, and Aareal Bank, as lender, signed a term sheet on 23 December 2025. The formal facility agreement is expected to be finalised in January 2026.
SPP owns and operates a portfolio of 22 Tesco-anchored retail parks, including 14 properties in Hungary, 4 in the Czech Republic, and 4 in Slovakia. The company manages a total of 398,000 m2 of gross leasable area across its retail parks, hosting over 600 tenants.
