Skanska is investing approximately SEK 1.3 bn (€115 mln) to acquire land in central Stockholm for a new mixed-use project in Sweden.

Tegelbruket 4, Stockholm - Skanska
The company has purchased the Tegelbruket 4 property from Region Stockholm.
This site, previously home to St. Erik's Eye Hospital, will be transformed into two blocks featuring around 240 new tenant-owned apartments and an office building spanning approximately 6,200 m2. Additionally, the ground floors will include about 1,500 m2 of commercial space.
Skanska plans to integrate the new buildings seamlessly with the existing urban landscape, while preserving the current health centre, children's centre, and a 19th-century fire station. The project will also create new public spaces, including squares and a park, to foster a lively neighbourhood and support biodiversity.
Preparatory work is set to begin soon, with construction expected to start in late 2026. The entire development is anticipated to be completed by 2032.
