Swedish real estate developer Skanska is investing €74 mln (SEK 820 mln) in the fifth and final phase of its Nowy Rynek office development in Poznań, Poland.

Nowy Rynek C
This new six-story building, named Nowy Rynek C, will provide around 29,000 m2 metres of office space.
It's set to be a pioneering project as the first commercial office building in Poland to achieve net-zero CO₂ emissions during operation. The building will be entirely powered by renewable energy, utilizing photovoltaic systems and independent air and ground source heat pumps (involving 10 km of ground drilling).
It will also feature advanced technologies like an AI-enhanced Building Management System and automated window panels. Low-carbon materials will be used throughout construction.
Nowy Rynek C is designed with sustainability and accessibility in mind, pursuing LEED Platinum, WELL, and "Building Without Barriers" certifications. Its prime location will make it accessible to Poznań residents. Notably, it will also be the first office building in Poland equipped with a rooftop terrace for drone package delivery.
Construction is slated to begin in Q4 2025 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2027.
