Skanska has secured a contract worth £273 mln (€321 mln) with British Land and GIC, through their Broadgate joint venture.

One Appold Street, London - Skanska
The agreement, to be booked in Skanska's Q1 2026 orders for Europe, involves the complete construction and M&E services for One Appold Street in London.
Originally built in 1986, One Appold Street will undergo a significant transformation into a modern, sustainable commercial building. The structural refurbishment will include a new facade, expanded floorplates, and the addition of six new floors to the existing steel frame. Upon completion, the 14-story building will offer around 33,500 m2 of premium office space and 4,500 m2 for a gym, restaurants, and a roof terrace.
Construction is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2026 and is expected to be finalised in 2029.
