Skanska’s share of the construction contract is NOK 900 mln (SEK 830 mln), which will be added to its Nordic order book in Q1 2026.
The project involves redeveloping and expanding existing office and commercial buildings near Oslo Central Station, creating 21,200 m2 of modern office space with excellent public transport links.
The development aims for high environmental standards, including BREEAM-NOR v6.0 Very Good certification, a fossil-free construction site, significant reduction in material greenhouse gas emissions, low waste, high reuse, and energy solutions for an energy class A rating.
Construction is scheduled to begin in Q2 2026, with completion expected between late 2029 and early 2030.
Separately, Skanska has secured a contract worth NOK 363 mln (SEK 330 mln) from OBOS Block Watne to build the Byfjordporten residential project in Askøy, Norway.
The development will feature 98 residential units across 10 buildings, creating a new neighbourhood in Florvåg with views of Byfjorden and Bergen. The plans also include a new access road with a tunnel for safe entry. The project aims to enhance Florvåg as an appealing residential area with waterfront access, proximity to public transport, and local services.
Construction is set to start immediately, with completion and handovers expected in 2028.
