Swedish property company Swedish Logistic Property (SLP) has acquired a 65,000 m2 logistics facility in Falkenberg, Sweden, for approximately SEK 430 mln (€39 mln).

Falkenberg logistics property - SLP
SLP's acquisition was structured as the purchase of a newly established company holding the land, construction contract, and lease agreement for the Falkenberg property.
A new 38,000 m2 logistics facility will be built on the Falkenberg Tröinge 6:75 site, pre-leased to third-party logistics company Speed Logistics for 12 years at an annual rent of SEK 28 mln (€2.5 mln).
SLP purchased the asset from project developer Astoria Fastigheter and expects the building to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
The acquisition was a corporate transaction, financed with SLP's capital.
Tommy Åstrand, CEO of SLP, stated: "This transaction will provide SLP with a modern and sustainable, fully leased, logistics property in a prime location along the E6. We are also pleased to welcome Speed Logistics as a new tenant and, through this deal, extend SLP's average lease duration."
SLP focuses on acquiring, developing, and managing sustainable logistics properties in key Swedish logistics hubs. Their portfolio comprises approximately 1,375,000 m2 of leasable space.
