Sonar Real Estate bolsters team with key hires

Sonar Real Estate is expanding its team in Germany this September with two experienced real estate professionals. 

Matthias Berning and Simone Jenemann 

Simone Jenemann joined as director of Letting and Business Development, while Matthias Berning will start on September 8, as technical asset manager.
Simone Jenemann brings over 25 years of real estate experience. Based in the Frankfurt office, she will enhance the leasing division and focus on securing new asset management and leasing mandates. Her previous roles include senior director and head of Real Estate Letting Germany at Barings, as well as positions at RFR Management, Deka Real Estate, and Aurelis Real Estate.
Matthias Berning, with more than two decades of experience in technical real estate management, will be responsible for the technical oversight of Sonar's assets and managing refurbishment and fit-out projects. He previously served as technical director and head of ESG at Velo Capital and has also worked at Patrizia, Zetcon Ingenieure, cgmunich, and Argoneo Real Estate.
