StepStone Group opens Madrid office

Global private markets investor StepStone Group has opened its ninth European office in Madrid, Spain.

This expansion, bringing their total worldwide offices to 31, underscores their dedication to European clients and partners. 
The Madrid office will be led by Guglielmo Russo Walti, who is the Iberian regional lead for Business Development and Client Relations.

As of September 30, 2025, the firm managed around $771 bn (€720 bn) in total capital, with $209 bn (€195 bn) in assets under management. Their client base includes large pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
