This financing will be used to develop two StudentSpace projects in Warsaw, including one on Wołoska Street, which will collectively provide around 1,100 modern student accommodations.
After launching its initial properties and securing funding for its Kraków projects, StudentSpace is now strengthening its presence in Warsaw, which is Poland's largest academic hub and one of the region's most underserved student housing markets.
Marek Obuchowicz, co-managing partner at Griffin Capital Partners, said: “Poland’s PBSA market is entering a new stage of institutional growth, driven by strong demand fundamentals and a clear shortage of modern student housing. Having successfully launched our first assets in Kraków, we are now focused on scaling StudentSpace in Warsaw and delivering the same quality, operational discipline and community-driven approach in the country’s largest academic market.”
StudentSpace currently has six projects in its pipeline, totalling 2,800 beds—three in Kraków and three in Warsaw. The StudentSpace investment platform, launched in March 2024, is a joint venture between Signal, Griffin Capital Partners, and Echo Investment.
